Endocrine Surgery (CE) is a surgical sub-specialty responsible for the treatment of diseases affecting organs whose function is to produce hormones into the bloodstream.
In regards to this sub-specialty, there are three organs that usually present pathologies on which surgeons must act on:
- The thyroid gland
- The parathyroid glands
- The adrenal gland
